The latest iteration of TrollStore 2, version 2.0, was released on Monday with notable enhancements. These include a fix for the CoreTrust bug, identified as CVE-2023-41991, thereby extending support from iOS 15.5 to iOS 17.0. This update reinforces TrollStore’s position as a leading permanent signing utility, particularly for users across iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1.

For those who rely on sideloading and are weary of the weekly hassle of re-signing applications, TrollStore is a game-changer. With TrollStore, apps are permanently signed, eliminating the need for users to re-sign them every seven days.

Although some users encountered difficulties installing apps via Trollstore 2 on recent firmware like iOS 17, Lars Fröder (@opa334dev), the project’s lead developer, swiftly addressed these issues.

A total of seven corrective versions have been released, addressing security concerns and crashes. The latest version, 2.0.7, resolves many of these instabilities on both new and old versions of iOS and iPadOS. We strongly recommend updating to TrollStore version 2.0.7 to ensure you’re running the latest stable version. Users who already have TrollStore installed can easily update it through the settings menu.
